Chinese Downhill is here because we couldn't find a good enough place online to talk about skiing and riding the way we do on the lift, at the bar, at work, to ourselves in the car on the way home ...well, you get the idea. After researching the online ski world, we thought, lets do it bigger and better.

This is a community designed to connect people who love waking up to a blizzard, pulling on a pair of boots, and being the first in a lift line. Diehards who will sleep in the parking lot to catch the first chair of the season even if it means sacrificing a pair of their boards to the rock Gods. It's also a place to share our passion for skiing and snowboarding with those who are either as passionate (i.e. frickin' insane) as we are, or are just getting to know the sport. Whether it's carving up a groomed trail, hiking a ridge to get fresh tracks, or pulling flips in the park, we wanted to provide a space where every part of the mountain is covered. Starting a thread in the forum, reviewing (dissing or praising) a recent trip, browsing the latest gear, or planning your next trip with new friends, we covered it all.

In addition to giving skiers and snowboarders a hub to connect, Chinese Downhill also provides accurate information about resorts and equipment to help members have the best experience possible on the slopes. With member reviews you'll hear from those who have tried it out and either loved it or hated it, giving you more information than you could get from just the brochure.

Lastly...the name. After talking amongst ourselves and with others, there was no denying that the name Chinese Downhill was our destiny and we owe it all to Hot Dog ...The Movie:
